Whence came the stalwart traveler?
Upon paths of stone, though Gates of Earth
On fractured rays of sunlight, a ruptured atoms birth
Whence came the stalwart traveler?
Bore in monoliths of science, titan husks of steel
Round the silent sing spheres and dead stars which do reel
The generation that watched her sail now has come and gone
Hoping, wishing, praying for the good ship Avalon
Whence came the stalwart traveler?
You whose seen the galactic girth
Who sat by quite inanimate as victim to fates mirth
Whence came the stalwart traveler?
Olenhort that foolish prat, with his sad sick little game
Now a rusting deralict on the rock which bears his name

This was to be an opening on a joint project between my brother and I. It was to be a science fiction epic spanning multiple stories. It concerned ideas left over from my Edge of Eternity Series and a few new concepts concerning Slow-than-light travel.

Would have been a great story, had life not stepped in and complicated matters. My half is written and currently resides on my hard-drive. Perhaps one day I'll come back to it.
